I started Bachelor Itinerary after being part of enough bachelor trips to notice the same pattern. All of us spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars to travel somewhere new, only to spend most of the weekend figuring things out as they went, often times defaulting to the closest bar or restaurant to where we were.
For some guys, that’s enough. But I always felt like we were missing out on the full experience the destination had to offer.
That changed when I had the opportunity to plan bachelor trips myself.
Instead of relying on aimless decisions throughout the weekend, I created a structured itinerary that gave the group a clear plan without making the trip feel over planned. We knew where we were going, what reservations were booked, what activities were lined up, and which spots were actually worth visiting, all while still leaving room for flexibility and spontaneity that we wanted.
Bachelor trips don’t need Bachelorette level itineraries, but they do need a foundation. That foundation removes the stress of group decision-making, avoids wasted time, and allows the group to actually experience the destination instead of spending the weekend trying to figure it out.
